Our members may post free help-wanted listings on this "Job Connection"
page, for full-time, part-time, seasonal,
and volunteer positions. Check this page frequently, because
new positions are available periodically. Old dates on postings do not
imply the position has probably been filled. Some are ongoing, and others
have been kept at the originator's request.*

Evangelical Home - Saline |
Volunteers
Hospice Care at Evangelical
Home-Saline was developed to meet the special needs of hospice patients and
their families. Volunteers play a key roll in this setting, providing
the simplest of gifts - a warm smile, a gentle touch, a listening ear, or a
compassionate presence. Simple gifts, but so vitally important to the
residents and their families. In addition to visiting with residents,
volunteers might read to them, create art, play music, record a person's
life story, or provide help with planning parties. To inquire about
this or other volunteer opportunities, contact Rev. Roger Meiller, Director
of Religious Services at 429-9401 ext. 3180, email
meilerr@evangelicalhomes.org
or Melissa Johnson, Assistant Activities Director at 429-9401 ext. 3170,
email
johnsonm@evangelicalhomes.org.
